Dr. Jill Biden coming to Spokane to raise money for husband’s presidential campaign

Dr. Jill Biden is scheduled to visit Spokane as part of a fundraising event on behalf of her husband’s presidential campaign in late September.

Dr. Biden, an educator and former second lady, is set to visit in the evening of September 29.

Information about the event is limited, but there is an active link on joebiden.com to RSVP. The site lists varying ticket prices for students, educators and other high-level donors. Attendees who donate over $1,000 have the opportunity to take their photo with Dr. Biden.

According to the site, an address for the event will be emailed to guests 48 hours prior to the event.

Over the years, several presidential campaigns and candidates have made several visits to the Lilac City. Then-candidates Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders both visited Spokane in 2016. Former president Bill Clinton also visited that year on behalf of the Hillary Clinton campaign.

4 News Now has reached out to the Biden for President press team requesting additional information about the fundraising event.
