Downtown Spokane shooting suspect arrested in Bonner County
BONNER CO., Idaho – The suspect in a downtown Spokane shooting was taken into custody near Priest River early Wednesday morning.
Trey Galloway, 19, was booked into the Bonner County Jail at 1:43 a.m. in connection to the shooting that injured two people at an apartment complex near Sacred Heart.
Priest River Police Chief Drew McLain said Galloway was booked on a fugitive from justice warrant.
Multiple agencies, including SPD, the U.S. Marshals Office, PRPD and the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office assisted in arresting Galloway. He was located in a vehicle at a Priest River residence.
Galloway will be extradited back to Spokane where he will be charged with two counts of first-degree assault, according to SPD.
No evidence was recovered during a search at the Idaho location. A suspect vehicle was seized pending a search warrant and a search warrant has been issued for a residence in Spokane near 1600 W. Mission Ave.
Two men were treated for gunshot wounds and taken to the hospital Tuesday night. Their condition is not known.
