Don’t forget to register for the Spokane Kid’s Fishing Event

The Spokane Kid’s Fishing Event is set to take place Saturday, May 4, at Clear Lake in Cheney.

The event is hosted by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, in coordination with Inland Northwest Wildlife Council, Kalispel Tribe of Indians, and Neis Family Memorial, and provides a day of fishing for dozens of kids and their families.

Community members are encouraged to register in advance, as the first 950 sign-ups will receive a “Kid Fishing” T-Shirt, rod and reel, and the otherwise limited chance to catch up to three trout.

The registration deadline is April 19. Find more information on community youth fishing opportunities HERE.
