Donations pour in after SCRAPS rescues 43 cats in cruelty case
SPOKANE, Wash. — Donations poured into SCRAPS on Tuesday after the group rescued dozens of abused cats.
On Monday, SCRAPS seized 43 cats in an animal cruelty case out of Spokane Valley. The cats were living in decrepit conditions, were ill and were underfed. SCRAPS said the cats were found living in their own waste and filth.
SCRAPS brought the cats back to their facility and gave them a warm place to sleep.
Spring is already a busy time for SCRAPS; it tends to be a time where they take in lots of cats and kittens. Thedonations will surely be put to use quickly, but SCRAPS is consistenly in need of food, litter and fosters.
If you are interested in donating or being a foster, contact SCRAPS at 509-477-2532.
