Detectives arrest three in ongoing stolen property investigation
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley Investigative Unit Detectives executed a search warrant at two residences Tuesday night, which resulted in the arrest of two suspects for possessing stolen property, and one for a felony warrant.
Detectives, with the assistance of a SWAT team with Air 2 overheard, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1600 block of W. Toni Rae Drive around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Multiple suspects were detained but two refused to come outside. After several hours, SWAT team members, including K9 units, entered the residence and found 39-year-old Adam K. Wilkening and 32-year-old Tegan M. Rushworth.
During the evening Tuesday and into early morning Wednesday, a search warrant was also served on a residence in the 1300 block of S. Ray.
As a result of this investigation, two stolen trailers, a 2011 Salem Cruise and a 2008 Eclipse Attitude Toy Hauler, were recovered. The trailer were reported stolen from a Spokane Valley business on March 12, and had a total estimated value of over $35,000.
Rushworth, a five-time convicted felon, was booked into the Spokane County Jail for two counts of second degree Possession of Stolen Property.
Wilkening, a two-time convicted felon, was booked into the Spokane County Jail for two counts of second degree Possession of Stolen Property, and two felony warrants.
31-year-old Ernest T. Dasher was also booked into the Spokane County Jail for an unrelated felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Detectives seized property and vehicles as evidence. This investigation is ongoing. More arrests are expected.
