Desperately needed rain on the way for the weekend, but first, a beautiful Friday
Thursday’s rain didn’t amount to much. Just a “trace” at the airport in Spokane, but there’s more wet weather on the way for the weekend. We need it! In the meantime, Friday will be dry and warm. We will star the day of with sunny skies, but as the day goes on, the clouds will increase. High temperatures will top out in the lower 60s.
For the first time in a long time, we have some wet weather on the way. Expect cool and rainy conditions across the region on Saturday. Right now, it looks like we could get between tenth and a quarter of an inch around the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area. That’s not exactly a gully washer, but it’s enough to help. Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will only climb into the lower to mid 50s. There’s still a chance of lingering showers on Sunday, but most of the day will be dry and breezy. Hit and miss showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible Monday afternoon and evening before we dry out for Tuesday and Wednesday.
