Deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a woman for a felony hit and run that took place Thursday night in Desert Aire.

Mireya Anaya, 22, was ejected from a car when it rolled twice, failing to turn a corner on Desert Aire Drive at Oasis Place. Witnesses saw the other driver run off toward a nearby mini-mart.

That driver, 24-year-old Vivian Duarte, turned herself in Saturday.

Anaya was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland and is listed in critical condition.

Deputies say alcohol consumption was involved in the accident.
