Update: The boy has been reported safe and is now down with his mom.

Crews are working to get down a boy who is stuck in a 60-foot tree in Nevada Park.

He’s ~55 feet up the 80+ feet high tree. Looks like he is securely strapped in now #KXLY https://t.co/RyjqWVQka3

Little boy still stuck in the tree at Nevada Park in north Spokane. He has a helmet on now and appears to be strapped in to some kind of harness system. Crews working slowly and carefully #KXLY pic.twitter.com/q2Bor6W1PH
