SPOKANE, Wash. — Crews pulled a firetruck from a sinkhole near Ninth and Ivory Thursday evening. The firetruck was responding to a main break at the intersection when it became stuck.
According to a tweet from the City of Spokane, a 6-inch, cast-iron main broke. Crews worked to repair the break and turned the water back on for residents in the area Thursday night. Crews plan to head back Friday to repair the road.
