Crews contain South Hill brush fire
SPOKANE, Wash. — Fire crews were able to contain a fire burning on Spokane’s South Hill Tuesday morning.
The fire, located at 68th and Mt. Vernon grew to a quarter of an acre before crews got control of it.
Firefighters say there was one person down in the burn area. They managed to get him out, though they don’t know why he was down there. Firefighters say he is going to be OK.
Multiple fire departments were called in to help battle the flames.
An investigation is underway.
