Coyote sightings reported in Pullman
PULLMAN, Wash. — Coyote sightings have been reported in several parts of Pullman, police said Wednesday.
Pullman Police said the sightings have been reported in the Pioneer Hill area, including Kruegel Park, Bishop Boulevard and Thompson Street.
PPD said officers are monitoring the movements but want to remind citizens to take care while the animals are in town.
“Coyotes are wild animals, and while it is likely that this youngster is simply looking for its next meal, it is important to give him plenty of space as he passes through,” PPD said in a post on Facebook.
Police said to avoid approaching the animal, keep cats and small pets indoors, and remember that outdoor pet bowls may attract unintended visitors.
