Cougars lose lead late, fall to Bruins on the road

LOS ANGELES — The Washington State Cougars led nearly the entire game against UCLA, but the Bruins came back late to force overtime, and they took over in the extra period, the Cougs fall 86-83 in OT.

Isaac Bonton played great ending with 23 points and 5 assists to lead the way on offense.

Jeff Pollard had 20 points including a career high 4 3-pointers.

Washington State’s leading scorer CJ Elleby the reigning Pac-12 Conference player of the week struggled shooting just 4-18 and 2-10 from deep and just 7 points.

With the loss the Cougars fall to 14-11 overall and 5-7 in the Pac-12
