Cops N Kids Car Show back for 27th year Saturday
SPOKANE, Wash. — The car show with a twist, Cops N Kids is returning to downtown Spokane Saturday night.
Cops N Kids Car Show was started 27 years ago as a way to bring teen car enthusiasts and law enforcement together, to promote safe driving and a drug and alcohol free lifestyle. Decades later, the mission has not changed.
Saturday night, teens, families and car enthusiasts are invited to the corner of Riverside and Washington to check out dozens of classic, vintage cars; everything from backyard buggies to corvettes and retired police vehicles.
The event is free and car owners are allowed to register their own vehicle to compete for trophies in categories like 1950s car and Millenium car.
Stop by from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. While the event is free, organizers ask that you make a donation to keep the show running.
