Cooler, wetter weather on the way starting Thursday – Kris

We ALMOST had our first 70°+ day of the season in Spokane today. We topped out at 69.1°, which was amazing. I wish I was here to tell you that it’s going to continue, but it’s not. For Thursday, expect a cooler, wetter, windier day with the possibility of some isolated thunderstorms! The best chance of rain will be right around noon, but there’s at least a slight chance all day.  High temperatures will top out in the mid 50s, which is about 10 degrees below average.

The cool weather will continue through a showery Mother’s Day Weekend and right on into next week.  GARDNERS: keep a close eye on morning lows starting Sunday and continuing into early next week.  We have the possibility for some frost, as temperatures drop into the lower to mid 30s.
