Cool, showery and breezy end to the work week – Kris

We’re starting to dry out a little bit after a very soggy Thursday. However, there’s a lot more cool, wet weather in the forecast.  There’s a chance of showers overnight Thursday, but expect a break in the rain for Friday morning.  Take advantage of it if you have a dog to walk or any other pressing outdoor plans.  The rain will be back in the forecast Friday afternoon and evening.  There’s also the possibility of a few isolated thunderstorms.  Highs on Friday will top out in the mid 50s, which is almost 10 degrees below average.

Cool, showery and breezy weather will continue for Saturday.  Right now, it looks like Mother’s Day Sunday will be mostly dry.  However, it’s going to be a cool day and I wouldn’t rule out an afternoon shower or two.  Another important thing to notice: cool overnight lows!  We do have the chance of a late-season frost every morning starting Sunday morning and continuing through Wednesday.
