Common Language Brewing, Flatstick Pub release Coug-themed ‘Palouse Posse Pale Ale’

SPOKANE, Wash. — The WSU collaboration beer officially has its new name.

It’s time to introduce to the field…… the Palouse Posse Pale Ale!

Common Language Brewing Company and Flatstick Pub joined forces to bring a WSU-themed beer to Spokane. The two establishments, owned by WSU alums, asked for your input in picking the name of the new beer, and it is now here.

More than 70 names were entered for the drawing. Palouse Posse was submitted by multiple people, but the first person to submit the name was Ryan Kurth.

Kurth now gets tickets to WSU’s matchup against the Idaho Vandals on September 3, a signed football from the WSU football team and a release party at the Flatstick Pub location in Spokane.

Common Language Brewing Company and Flatstick Pub raised $530 dollars for the Cougar Athletic Fund through the brew, which helps support WSU student-athletes.
