Comeback falls short for Seahawks who lose to Green Bay to end season
GREEN BAY, Wisc. — The Seattle Seahawks had a big comeback to get back in the game against Green Bay, but the Packers hold on for a 28-23 win at home.
Aaron Jones rushed for a pair of touchdowns to give Green Bay a 21-3 lead at the half, but things changed for Seattle after the break.
Marshawn Lynch answered with two second-half scores as Seattle got the lead down to five with just under ten minutes remaining.
Seattle’s defense got the ball back after a key third down sack by the Griffin brothers, but the offense goes three and out turning the ball back over to the Packers.
Seattle forced a third and long with just over two minutes to go, but Aaron Rodgers hits Devante Adams on a big first down conversion. After forcing another third and long, Rodgers hits former Seahawk Jimmy Graham for another first down.
The Packers were able to run the rest of the clock down to end the season for the Seahawks.
