Comcast job fair to offer hundreds of opportunities June 9
SPOKANE, Wash. — A new Comcast call center will soon bring hundreds of jobs to the Spokane Area.
Interested candidates for the new positions will have the opportunity to attend a meet and greet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at Comcast’s field offices at 1717 E. Buckeye in Spokane.
Company representatives will be on hand during the event to greet potential candidates, share information about the company and discuss the application process.
While there, candidates will be able to speak to current Comcasters, enjoy snacks and learn more about a potential career in media and technology. Potential candidates can walk right in, no appointments are necessary.
Recently, Comcast announced plans for a call center in Spokane that is expected to employ 675 people
Comcast will be hiring for the following positions:
Customer Account Representatives, Sales: Must have a high school diploma (or its equivalent) along with 1-2 years of related experience.
Customer Experience Rep – Retention (Loyalty): Must have a high school diploma (or its equivalent) along with 3-5 years of related experience (should include 1 year working directly with customers).
Sales Manager/Retention Manager: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) along with 6-9 years of related experience (should include experience managing hourly and salaried employees).
