Cold nights ahead! Near freezing in the mornings with highs below average – Kris
Warm, spring weather continues to elude us. That will be especially true tonight and tomorrow morning. If, like me, you’ve already succumbed to the temptation to buy some pretty spring flowers (Geraniums at Costco), you might want to bring those pots into the garage for the night. Lows will be getting down into the lower to mid 30s around the region. Not a hard freeze, but a frost is possible. For Wednesday, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures running between 5 and 10 degrees below average.
Temperatures will remain below average through the 7-day forecast with occasional showers, mainly in the mountain areas. Meanwhile, the Bloomsday Weekend forecast is still a work in progress. Right now, it looks like a cooler than average day with dry conditions and partly cloudy skies for Sunday.
