Cold front will bring rain tonight, cooler weather this week – Kris
The 60s were nice while they lasted. I’m talking about the temperatures, of course, not the decade. Above average temperatures made a brief appearance for Sunday and Monday, but a cold front is going to change that. The front will be moving through this evening, bringing rain to the region overnight. Most of the precipitation will be over by tomorrow morning. However, expect a cool, breezy Tuesday with high temperatures in the mid 50s.
Our average high is climbing into the lower 60s this week, but we’ll stay below average right on through the end of the week and into a dry, cool Bloomsday Sunday. Right now, it looks like the chance of showers this week will be limited to the mountains, with a mix of sun and clouds in the valleys.
