Coeur d’Alene Police find body of missing man near Hazel Avenue
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Police found the body of a 49-year-old man in a semi-secluded area near 15th Street and Hazel Avenue Saturday night.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., detectives were able to identify the body as Reuben Rodriguez, reported missing since Monday. Police say the death does not appear to be suspicious and say there is no threat to the community.
Coeur d’Alene Police say Reuben Rodriguez was last seen walking away from his home in the 1100 block of Spokane Ave on Monday.
Family and friends were not able to get ahold of him since, which they say is unusual.
Police say Rodriguez had a medical condition, making his disappearance even more worrisome.
He’s described as being 5’05” and roughly 160 pounds, with brown eyes and glasses.
According to a release, Rodriguez was last seen wearing tennis shoes, black sweatpants, a black t-shirt and either a black jacket or grey button-up sweater with a dark jacket.
