COEUR D’ALENE, ID. — The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is investigating a reported robbery from Monday.

CDAPD responded to a call at the 3rd Street boat docks area for a reported robbery. The victim says he was approached by four juvenile males, as they were interested in taking the victim’s shoes.

They had a conversation about buying the shoes, and instead of giving the victim money, one of the suspects produced a gun and stole the shoes. The four of them left the area quickly.

Officers then arrived on the scene and found the victim and four suspects. The shoes were recovered, and they were unable to locate a gun.

Detectives are continuing an investigation of the case. A juvenile petition was sent to the Kootenai County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, charging the four suspects with different crimes related to the incident.

This is an ongoing investigation.
