North Idaho community lends helping hand after drunk driver destroys Post Falls coffee stand
KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — In the days after a suspected drunk driver destroyed a business, a coffee shop in North Idaho is lending a helping hand.
Post Falls Police say a man crashed into the Roasted Coffee Co. stand in Coeur d’Alene around 6 a.m. Saturday and sped off, but a witness at the nearby gas station was able to grab his license plate.
Roasted Coffee Co. posted video of the aftermath on Facebook, saying no one was at the stand and at the time and there were no injuries.
When Cotton-Eye Joe Espresso heard about the crash, they wanted to do something to help.
On Friday, May 1, Cotton-Eye Joe is donating all proceeds to Roasted Coffee. If you want to help, you can purchase something at either one of Cotton-Eye Joe’s locations. You can also leave a donation.
All money raised goes to help Roasted Coffee rebuild.
