Coeur d’Alene buildings go blue to honor Sgt. Greg Moore
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Several Coeur d’Alene buildings will be lit up blue on Wednesday to honor the life and legacy of Sergeant Greg Moore.
Moore died in the line of duty in May 2015, when he was shot while patrolling a Coeur d’Alene neighborhood in the middle of the night.
Jonathan Renfro was sentenced to death for the murder.
Now, years later, blue lights will wrap around several buildings owned by Coldwell Banker to honor the man who so bravely served the community.
“We want to honor the memory of someone who has selflessly served to protect us in this community and show each and every year how much we care about those individuals that risk their lives day in and day out to keep us safe,” said Rob Brickett, general manager of Coldwell Banker.
The lights will stay up throughout the month of May.
