Clear & cool conditions for your 4th of July evening! – Emily

SPOKANE, Wash. — Happy 4th of July!

The shower & thunderstorm activity is moving out to make way for nice conditions this holiday evening. We’ll have mostly clear skies for the remainder of the evening with temps in the 50s and 60s.

As you’re heading out to catch the fireworks grab some jackets and sweatshirts for yourself and the kids. Cool temps, but the winds will be light.

Meanwhile, a second disturbance is moving over the Cascades into Okanogan and Chelan counties.

The sunshine they had this afternoon is fueling thunderstorms (and heavy rainfall within that) and potentially flash flooding. By tomorrow, we’re under mostly sunny skies as our temps climb back into the mid-80s by the middle of the week!

Have a safe and fun holiday evening! 🎆
