MOSCOW, Idaho — The Universiy of Idaho, City of Moscow and Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre have teamed up to launch a free, old fashioned drive-in theater at the Kibbie Dome.

“2020 decided to hearken back to 1918 in a most uncool way,” read a press release from the City, “so we’ve decided to hearken to yesteryear by bringing back something awesome!”

According to the City, there has not been a drive-in theater on the Palouse for decades.

Every Saturday through June 6, the Kibbie Dome will screen a movie, and U of I will provide snacks, courtesy of Vandal Dining. They will even use this setup for commencement ceremonies for local high schools, including Moscow High School.

The film schedule is still being determined, but Saturday, May 16 will have a screening of Yesterday (2019).

The City of Moscow notes that space will be limited, and they have provided guidelines and other details through the University of Idaho website.
