City of Hayden opens Jr. Disc Golf Course in Broadmoore Park
HAYDEN, Idaho — A new park amenity in Hayden is made just for kids!
The City of Hayden held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Broadmoore Park on May 17 to introduce a new Jr. Disc Golf Course.
Hayden Mayor Scott Forssell, Councilwoman Sandra White, Vice-Chair Malea Sampsel and Joel Johnson, member of the Parks, Recreation and Community Forestry Commission, were in attendance.
The five-hole course is designed for youth and families to enjoy. The city hopes it will become a family-favorite activity.
The course was made possible through community support from Chomper Café/Belle’s Brunch House, Gargoyle Granite, Kootenai Title, TDS, CdA Realtors and Great Floors.
