City demos new bike share program
SPOKANE, Wash. — The city is testing out a new bike share program with Lime, a rental transportation company that operates in cities across the country.
For a small rental fee, users can pick up bikes, electric bikes, or scooters, for trips in and around town.
The two month pilot program starts next month, which will help determine if the bike share is right for Spokane.
To rent a bike, you’ll need to download the Lime app.
After the pilot program is over, the city will seek information from people to decide if and how to move forward with the program.
