Child-friendly ‘Haunted Schoolhouse’ opens at Green Bluff
Colbert, Wash. — To celebrate the last weekend of fall fun at Green Bluff, the Green Bluff Junior Grange created a “haunted schoolhouse” to give kids of all ages a Halloween scare!
The Junior Grange is a non-profit organization that gives kids the opportunity to build character, learn responsibility and develop self-confidence. Throughout the year they volunteer in the community and the weekend before Halloween, they hold their big, annual fundraiser to continue serving the community and the Mead Food Bank.
Their haunted schoolhouse is set up on the bottom floor of the Grange, located at 9809 East Green Bluff Road.
It’s run by kids, who do the set-up and the scaring! They invite kids of all ages to enter the haunt, which includes a walk through with spooky set-ups and candy at the end.
Guests are able to request different levels of scaring as they enter, so if you bring a younger child they act accordingly. If it’s just too scary for some, games are set-up upstairs to entertain.
Costumes are encouraged. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
You can visit Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $3 per person.
