Chef Chad White to open second High Tide Lobster Bar location
SPOKANE, Wash. — On the tail of success, chef Chad White announced High Tide Lobster Bar will open a second location.
The new restaurant. which is slated to open sometime this fall, will be inside the recently renovated Wonder Building on Post Street.
The original location, located on Riverside, opened earlier this year. 4 News Now caught up with White just a month after opening the original location. At the time, the “Top Chef” alum said the lobster bar was trying to keep up with demand.
“I love a good lobster roll. I’ve had it all over the country. Specifically, in Maine and in Boston. But not here,” White told 4 News Now. “We want to kind of remove the idea that we can’t get amazing seafood here. Because we’re doing it every single day.”
High Tide is not White’s first venture into Seafood.
In 2016, White opened Zona Blanca, a restaurant serving up a variety of ceviches, tacos and the popular “Dorilocos.”
White also recently opened TT’s Old Iron Brewery and BBQ in Spokane Valley.
