Celebrate Valentine’s Day early at the Chocolate Affair
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — If you just can’t wait for sweets on Valentine’s Day, the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association is celebrating a little early.
On Friday night they are hosting their annual Chocolate Affair at different businesses and restaurants. The event is similar to their Mac and Cheese Festival, but this time with chocolate! Attendees begin at the Plaza Shops, where they receive a map with all the 25 participating locations. Unlike the Mac and Cheese Festival though, a sample can be taken from every station. Good luck saving room for a box of Valentine’s chocolates!
Some businesses like Honey will be offering non-menu items, like a chocolate mousse filled choco-taco! While places like Moutain Madness Soap will host a pop-up shop from the North Idaho Bed and Breakfast Association. They’ll be making treats like a chocolate cherry ganache bundt cake.
Tickets are $15 and must be purchased prior to the event. You can do so here. For $25, attendees can get six wine pairings with desserts. The Chocolate Affair will run from 5pm to 8pm.
