Carrie Ann Evans
Carrie Ann Evans was born on June 19th, 1952, to Ethel M. Sumler and Lloyd Joseph Sr. in Jeanerette, Louisiana. Carrie moved to Spokane, WA in 1954, during her school years she excelled in track and field and was known as the fastest girl in school.
Carrie worked for Kaiser Aluminum for 30 years. Later, she changed career paths and went back to school to pursue her passion in healthcare. Carrie graduated from Kinman Business School at top of her class with a Medical Secretary Degree. Carrie worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center and Deaconess Hospital for several years in various roles caring for others.
She was a humanitarian, renegade and always loved the underdog. Carrie genuinely cared for people. Carrie departed on December 13, 2019. She is survived by her three children, LaTosha R. Clark, Dametria D. Evans and Dennis J. Evans. Grandchildren, Damone F. and DeRoice D. Solomon, Tempestt J. Clark, Faith E. Carr, Aizayah J.Brown and Theodore D. Evans. Great Grandchildren, Roman and Dakai Solomon. Brother Lloyd Joseph Jr., sister Helen J. Walker. She is also survived by hosts of family and friends.
