CHELAN, Wash. — The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help finding a burglary suspect.

CCSO is investigating multiple burglaries to vacation homes and other residences and business, including Leavenworth Ski Hill. Some of the burglaries have taken place in the Lake Wenatchee area and summer cabins.

CCSO says the suspect(s) has stolen firearms and other property worth over $50,000 in value.

Detectives have named 33-year-old Kevin M. Waters as the primary suspect. He has an arrest warrant out for 1st-degree possession of stolen property and 2nd-degree trafficking stolen property. He was last seen in Lake Wenatchee area by a CCSO deputy. He fled the scene in his car when the deputy tried to take him into custody.

Waters is 5’11” and weighs 185 pounds.  He has blue eyes and blonde hair, but CCSO says he might have changed his hair color. He was also seen wearing heavy eyeliner and carrying a handgun on his hip.

He was driving his blue 1997 Subaru Legacy with primer grey front fenders and stickers in the rear window when fleeing the scene.

It is an ongoing investigation and deputies expect Waters could face additional charges.

He has been living in different camps in Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake.

Anyone with information on Waters’ location is asked to call dispatch at 509-663-9911. Those who own property in the Lake Wenatchee area that has not visited it in over a year are recommended to check on it.
