Burglar steals ski trip money, student council funds from elementary school

An elementary school in Naples, Idaho is calling for its community help to identify a burglar. In a Facebook post on Tuesday night, the school says someone broke into the school and stole student council and Schweitzer ski trip funds, in addition to other items. The school’s ski trip was scheduled for this coming Thursday.

The school says they have contacted law enforcement regarding the break in, and advise anyone with information to contact the Bonners Ferry Police Department.

The burglar was in the building for two and a half hours, according to the school, and stole a variety of items including candy, pens and Goldfish crackers.
