Breezy conditions sticking around to end weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. — Winds knocked down trees around Spokane Saturday, peaking at 41 mph, with even stronger gusts in other parts of the region. And breezy conditions will stick around through Sunday, though not nearly as strong as Saturday.
Showers will start to dissipate Saturday night, as will the strong winds. Winds will die down overnight, then pick back up into Sunday, changing direction to a more northerly flow.
Temperatures will also stay cooler on Sunday, only reaching a high of 54°.
