Breast cancer awareness run prompts road closures Sunday

There are some road closures you should know about if you plan to drive in downtown Spokane Sunday morning.

The Every Woman Can Pink Ribbon Run will force some temporary road closures throughout the morning. Here is a list of which roads will be impacted, according to the City of Spokane:

The following streets will be closed from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wall St, Spokane Falls Blvd to Main Ave
Post St, Spokane Falls Blvd to Post Street Bridge

From 6 to 11:30 a.m., Spokane Falls Blvd will be closed from Howard St to Main Ave.
From 8:30 to 11 a.m., Lincoln St will be closed from Spokane Falls Blvd to Riverside Ave.
The remaining streets will be closed from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m.

Monroe St, Main to Riverside Ave
Riverside Ave, Lincoln to Hemlock St
Hemlock St, Riverside to 1st Ave
1st Ave, Hemlock to Poplar St
Poplar St, 1st to Pacific Ave
Pacific Ave, Poplar to Spruce St
Spruce St, Pacific to 2nd Ave
2nd Ave, Spruce to Elm St
Elm St, 2nd to 1st Ave
1st Ave, Elm to Cedar St
Cedar St, 1st to Riverside Ave
Main Ave, Monroe to Howard St
Howard St, Main Ave to Spokane Falls Blvd
