Breaking down Gonzaga men’s basketball’s 2022-23 WCC schedule

SPOKANE, Wash.— Shortly after Gonzaga women’s basketball conference schedule, the men’s team now knows its fate for retaining conference dominance.
The Zags will play 16 games against WCC opponents, looking to capture its 11th-straight regular season title and 26th overall title next season. The season will run from Dec. 31 to Feb. 25.

To start league play, the Zags will host Pepperdine on Dec. 31 in Spokane. To start the new year, GU will go on a three-game road trip, facing off against USF, Santa Clara and BYU on Jan. 5, 7 and 12 respectively.
GU will return home to play against Portland and LMU on Jan. 14 and Jan. 19. They will return on the road to play against Pacific in Stockon, California, on Jan. 21 before heading up to Oregon to play Portland a week later on Jan. 28.
After playing Santa Clara at The Kennel on Feb. 2, the Zags will travel to Moraga to face Saint Mary’s on Feb. 4. The Zags will head back home with matchups against USF and BYU on Feb. 9 and Feb. 11.
To end their road schedule, the Zags will ride to Southern California to play LMU and Pepperdine on Feb. 16 and Feb. 18. They will end their regular season schedule at home against USD and Saint Mary’s on Feb. 23 and Feb. 25.
Following the regular season, the Zags will look to retain their 2021 WCC Tournament title at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The tournament will take place from March 2-7.
