Brain Freeze temporarily closes for owing nearly $20K in unpaid taxes
SPOKANE, Wash. — A popular Spokane ice cream shop has closed its doors temporarily for owing nearly $20,000 in unpaid taxes.
A notice taped to the door from the State Department of Revenue greeted would-be customers at Brain Freeze’s two locations on Wednesday morning.
The department issued warrants against the business totaling more than $19,000 in unpaid taxes and penalties.
Brain Freeze is located in Kendall Yards and on Grand Blvd. in Spokane.
