Brace yourself for gusty winds & a cool down this weekend! -Emily

We started the day with calm winds but that’s changing as we move into the afternoon.

Breezy conditions will pick up and continue through the overnight hours and into Saturday. We’ll have southwest winds between 5 and 15 MPH,  with gusts up to 24 MPH.

A low that was situated over BC has shifted its track and has a slight chance of bringing some showers into Northeast Washington and North Idaho on Saturday afternoon.

We’ll keep an eye on that through the evening and track how likely a rain interruption will be in your weekend forecast. Otherwise, we have a very nice cool down with high temps in the 70s.

By the middle of next week, we’re back up into the upper-90s. -Emily Blume, in for Mark Peterson
