Boy shoots 12-year-old brother in face with crossbow, Tillamook police say

TILLAMOOK, Oregon — Tillamook Police said a 13-year-old boy shot his 12-year-old brother in the face with a crossbow Wednesday night.

According to a release, officers responded to the home near 2500 block of 1st Street around 9 p.m.

When they arrived at the scene, officers found the 12-year-old boy had been shot in the face. Police said the boys were arguing when the shooting happened. Their parents were home at the time.

The 12-year-old was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

The case is under investigation and has been submitted to the Tillamook County Juvenile Department for review.
