Body of missing Oregon man found in Idaho’s Selway River
LOWELL, Idaho — The body of a 22-year-old man from Terrebonne, Oregon was found Tuesday in the Selway River, east of Lowell.
Reece Rollins had been missing since an accident on May 21 near Paradise Camp, about 43 miles upriver from where his body was found. Three other men remain missing from the crash.
According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, a hiker found Rollins’ body near Cupboard Creek and alerted a U.S. Forest Service trail crew. It was partially submerged and wedged between a boulder and a log.
The body was taken to Boise, where tattoos and dental records used in the autopsy confirmed it was Rollins.
