Body found in Moses Lake believed to be Lionel Pando
MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A body found floating in Moses Lake Saturday morning is believed to be that of missing man Lionel Pando.
Pando has been the subject of a search after his car was found submerged Thursday near the McConihe Flats area.
Sheriff’s Marine Patrol deputies, along with detectives, recovered the body this morning near where Pando’s car was found near Road E.2-Northeast and McConihe Road.
The body is in the care of the Grant County Coroner’s Office who are working to confirm the identity and perform an autopsy. Pando’s family has been notified of the discovery.
The investigation into Pando’s disappearance continues.
