Bob Norris to advance as Republican candidate for Kootenai Co. Sheriff
KOOTENAI CO., Idaho — Bob Norris will advance to the November general election as the GOP candidate for Kootenai County Sheriff.
Norris took 44.3 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s primary election. Kim Edmondson took 26.8 percent, Richard Whitehead took 18.7 percent and John Grimm took 10.2 percent.
Norris has been in law enforcement for 30 years and is a current member of the Kootenai County Search and Rescue Team. He previously worked with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
Norris will now move to the general election where he will run against Just Nagal and Mike Bauer.
