Bloomsday runner dies during race
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer confirmed a 72-year-old man died while participating in the Lilac Bloomsday Run on Sunday.
The unidentified man died from cardiac arrest at about 11:48 a.m. on Broadway and Adams, according to Schaeffer.
