Jonathan Fisher joined the 4 News Now team in September 2019 as a producer for 920 News Now, before moving over to the television news department.

Jonathan was born and lived in West Tennessee for 25 years. He graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in broadcast television and radio. Radio was always a dream job, as his uncle was a producer and host of a radio show in North Carolina. But growing up seeing local journalism in his home state and seeing the difference it can make to his friends and family, he aimed for television.

He moved to Twin Falls, Idaho for a job behind the scenes of the evening news at KMVT. There, he learned more about every position that it took to put together a newscast. After three years there, he moved to Spokane to become the morning radio show producer for 920 News Now. This is where he learned a lot about Spokane itself and what makes it such a wonderful place.

Using all of that knowledge and experience, he was brought on to become the 5 pm producer for 4 News Now in December of 2020.

Jonathan enjoys all types of movies, video games, comic books. Skateboarding and Snowboarding are some outdoor activities that he is practicing more and more to become better at, as well.
