Emily Oliver joined the 4 News Now team as a Digital Producer in March of 2019.

Emily is a recent graduate of Eastern Washington University, where she majored in Communication Studies and received a minor in Journalism. During her time as a student, she was the main feature writer for Eastern 24/7, one of the university’s online news publications. She also wrote an article that was featured on the front page of Eastern Magazine.

Emily grew up in Western Washington, in Maple Valley. She moved to Spokane for school, took a brief hiatus to participate in a professional internship at Walt Disney World, then came back to graduate.

When she isn’t updating social media or writing stories for the web, Emily does hot yoga, checks out cool breakfast spots around Spokane, and spends quality time with her cat.
