Baylor leapfrogs Gonzaga for No. 1, giving Top 25 its seventh team on top this season

SPOKANE, Wash. — Baylor leapfrogged Gonzaga for the no. 1 spot in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Baylor is now the seventh team to hit no. 1 this season. It’s the second time in program history the team has hit the top spot.

The Zags beat BYU on Saturday 92-69, marking the team’s 12th consecutive win. The team stretched their home win streak to 34 ina row, tops in the coutry, and also became the first school to 20 wins this season.

Killian Tillie had 22 points and 10 rebounds. Corey Kispert scored 19 points and Joel Ayayi and Admon Gilder had 14 apiece.
