Barefoot Bloomie: Man runs 12K with no shoes
SPOKANE, Wash. — There are so many impressive athletes every year at Bloomsday, but perhaps no one else ran it the way Bill Colvin did.
Colvin finished his sixth Bloomsday Sunday without shoes on. He didn’t say why he chooses to run the 12K barefoot, but he’s been doing it for years. He finished with a time of 47 minutes and 14 seconds. That put him at 161 overall.
