Avista resolves outage that left nearly 2,000 people without power
COLVILLE, Wash. — Avista has resolved a swathe of power outages that affected over 1,700 customers from Colville to the Canadian border on Sunday.
The cause of the outages was deemed an equipment failure.

According to an Avista map, the outages were reported at 10:38 a.m. and stretched across portions of Ferry and Stevens County.
Crews were on-site investigating the issue, and found a solution just after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
