Autism Awareness month proclaimed today
Spokane — Tonight at Spokane’s City Council meeting- the community is invited to participate in the declaration of Austism Awareness month.
Tonight’s proclamation will take about 15 minutes and starts at 5:45.
Anyone who contributed art work is urged to attend, as a poster featuring several of the artists is presented to the City Council.
Following the City Council proclamation, there will be a small reception at Saranac Commons, on Main Street, starting at 6:30 with Northwest Autism Center and The Issac Foundation.
There will be complementary food and drink.
